Very Berry Puff Pastry Pies
Whether it's strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries... Once again nature has numerous nibbles on offer for us. And it really doesn't need much more for this delicious treat.

Ingredients for 4 pies
1 pck. MOIN Spelt Puff Pastry Vegan
300 g fresh berries of the season
50 g almond slivers, roasted
1 tbsp icing sugar
Preparation
1. Preheat oven to 180°C (fan-assisted).
2. Wash berries and dab dry.
3. Roll out the puff pastry with the baking paper. Cut off four approx. 2 cm wide strips from the long side. Cut four equal rectangles from the remaining dough (see diagram).
4. Place rectangles with the baking paper on a baking tray. Cut off excess baking paper.
5. Cut the dough strips to size (two short and two long pieces) and place them on the edges of the rectangles so that each piece has a kind of frame.
6. Place a quarter of the berries and almond slivers in the middle of each piece.
7. Bake in the preheated oven on the middle shelf for about 15 minutes until golden brown
8. Sprinkle with icing sugar
Tip: Work the dough while cool.
