demonstration in Berlin
On 18th January 2020, thousands of people will once again take to the streets in Berlin to demand a better agricultural policy - without pesticides, without animal suffering and with more support for organic farming.
Since September last year, we have seen green warning crosses in many fields used by conventional farmers to protest silently against the 'agricultural package' announced by the German government.
Dear farmers, who fear for your existence, join us! Together we can turn the cart around and steer into a future that we are not afraid of, but which we are looking forward to. As an organic farmer, you also enjoy great appreciation from the people, who understand the connection between agricultural processes and the quality of their food more and more. People want to be provided with healthy, regional food and feel grateful to those who supply it.
With the shared desire for an agricultural turnaround and thus for high quality food, it would be fantastic if conventional farmers would join us and take part in this demonstration. Because - as we all know - together we are strong! Let us make a stand together, for proper climate and biodiversity protection, for our soils, for our environment, for our existence.
