Mini cinnamon swirls

Other than our vegan Spelt Puff Pastry, you only need 4 more ingredients and about 10 minutes of preparation time for this recipe. And while the mini cinnamon swirls bake in the oven for half an hour, a sweet cinnamon scent spreads through the kitchen. 

Pleasure for all senses!

Preparation time: approx. 10 mins
Baking time: approx. 30 mins

Moin Bio Dinkel Blätterteig

Ingredients for one baking dish (21 x 25 x 3 cm)

3 pck. MOIN Vegan Spelt Puff Pastry
120 g soft margarine
4-6 tbsp brown sugar
2 tbsp maple syrup
2-3 tsp cinnamon

optional: a little icing for decoration

Preparation

1. Preheat oven to 200° C (fan-assisted). 

2. In a bowl, mix the brown sugar, cinnamon and maple syrup.

3. Roll out doughs and brush with soft margarine.

4. Spread the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly over the doughs.

5. From the short side, roll up the dough and cut into pieces about 3 cm wide.

6. Place the dough swirls in a baking dish lined with baking paper (here you can take the baking paper from one of our puff pastry doughs and cut it to fit the dish).

7. Bake in preheated oven for about 30 minutes until golden brown.

8. If you like, decorate the swirls with a little icing at the end.
