Puff pastry pops
The next garden party may come!
This very berry summer snack is quickly made. What you need is a waffle iron, our vegan Spelt Puff Pastry and a few berries - maybe even from your own garden?!
Preparation time: approx. 10 mins
Baking time: approx. 15-20 mins
Ingredients
1 pck. MOIN Spelt Puff Pastry Vegan
approx. 100 g berries (e.g. blueberries and red currants)
agave syrup to taste
icing sugar for dusting
neutral oil to grease the waffle iron
1 waffle iron
Preparation
1. Wash and dry the berries and sweeten them with agave syrup.
2. Heat the waffle iron and grease lightly.
3. Cut the MOIN Spelt Puff Pastry Vegan to fit the waffle iron. (We used a waffle iron in which we could bake four mini waffles at a time. At this size, you get ten waffles from one roll of puff pastry.)
4. Place one layer of puff pastry on the waffle mould, put a few sweetened berries on top, cover with a second layer of puff pastry and close the waffle iron.
5. Bake for approx. 15-20 minutes.
6. Pin the mini wafers onto a popsicle stick and sprinkle with sifted icing sugar.
